Spring Is Prime Season For Termites

No homeowner wants to be faced with the devastation caused by termite damage. In fact,  it is estimated that these swarmers have caused over 5 million dollars in destruction each year in the United States.  To make matters worse, a typical homeowner’s insurance policy does not cover termite damage.

Don’t let what you can’t see hurt you…You can’t assume your home is termite-free just because you’ve never seen them – they only swarm once or twice a year, and you might miss it!

The difference between a flying ant and a flying termite…

Spring is prime season as swarmers, winged termites, emerge in search of new colonies. A termite inspection from ProTech Pest Control is the best way to ensure your home is protected.  Call 866.500.1536 or request an appointment online.

24This Symbol Means Accurate Termite Reports

There are no laws in Virginia governing who can conduct a Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) report. That means the person who visits your home to check for termites may or may not be trained. How can you make sure your home is protected from these dangerous insects?

ProTech Pest Control termite inspectors are certified by the Virginia Pest Management Association (VPMA) under the WDI Inspector Certification Program:

Our certified inspectors go through VPMA classroom training and must demonstrate their knowledge and ability to conduct accurate termite reports.

As an employer of VPMA Certified Inspectors, ProTech Pest Control must hold a pesticide business license and maintain liability insurance to protect our customers and employees.

VPMA certified inspectors must also have a certification from the Virginia Department of Agriculture to demonstrate their knowledge in general pests and wood destroying organisms.
